Web Development of a new site - or giving your present site a face-lift., a new and fresh look - is greatly diverse and limitless in graphic style and technological function. As such, it's near impossible to give quotes. We can, however, offer you a view of the the 'average cost range' for a site we are custom designing and building from scratch...

Our professional, custom work is based on our competitively low $65 per hour fee, time-logged and rounded to the nearest 15 minute increment.   After the initial design of the graphic theme, which averages $300-500, the cost from there is strictly driven by quantity of content that you have to go on your pages, and functionality/navigation. In other words, the more content (layout of text, graphics, photos), you have, combined with your functionality requirements, naturally the more time we will be required to work on your behalf.  These factors in mind, we see an average design cost between $1200 - 1500.  The least you will see is approximately $800.

Retainer Fee - A $300 retainer is required for us to begin Phase 1 (below), on your behalf.  This retainer is a 'credit' to your account and is applied against the cost to create your initial graphic design page template.  This designed page, once approved by you, is the template used for all the pages within your site.  Most of our custom designs are achieved without exceeding this retainer fee and rarely exceeds $500.

Graphic Design Service - If you need a logo designed for print or web needs, we can provide this professional service at our same low, hourly rate, with a $125 retainer.

 

Phase I - Graphic Design Page Template. We begin your custom design around your logo and a 2-color scheme reflective of your business' printed materials, like business cards and letterhead.  If you do not have a logo and would like one, we can also design this on your behalf. 

While we are working on the design that will expertly capture the essence of your business, we ask that you use this time to gather all the text content you want us to put on your various pages.   In addition, we will need any particular graphics and/or photos you want to include on your site, if any.  Graphic images and photos greatly enhance a site. If you have no graphic images or photos you wish to use, NO WORRIES'; we have a vast library we will choose from to bring your site alive.  Once you have gathered all the content for use to layout on your payges, and you have approved your design template, we are ready to move to...

Phase II - Content Layout & Publishing.   We will complete the initial development of your site for publishlishing by laying out your content for your home page and all sub-pages, and linking all menu selections to the appropriate pages within your site.

Any other development requirements that you desire for us to incorporate at this initial develoment stay may include:

  • e-commerce for selling items from within your web site.  The most cost effective and most secure method of e-commerce is presently PayPal.  We will interface your web site with your PayPal account for each item you wish to sell.  Interfacing with PayPal guarantees that your on-line customers will -
    • have the most secure check-out system right there within your site, and
    • be able to use any major credit card, bank draft, or electronic check - both with very little per transaction cost to you once the site is published. 
  • on-line forms for your visitors to complete,
  • flash slideshows for your photos, and
  • other such development needs. 

Upon your approval of the completed site, we will publish your site files to your host server and your site will be LIVE on the world wide web (www).

Phase III - Maintenance. Any 'content' updates to your site, as often or as little as you require them, is considered maintenance and charged at the same competitively low rate of $65 per hour, logged and rounded to the nearest 15 minutes. Therefore, if you only have 10-15 minutes worth of maintenace for us to do, you'll only be charged for 15 mins. and no more. Our only 'minimum' charge is 15 minutes because we understand how business owners, like ourselves, need to save costs to stay in business and grow.   Any 'new development' to your site after it is pusblished - such as changes to the graphic design, adding e-commerece, on-line forms, or other such programming based additions, will require a new $300 retainer to begin the work.

Other Necessary Costs are limited to your

  • domain registration (your web address), currently secured by us for only $18 per year, per domain;
  • hosting service is necessary to give you space on a 'server' adaquate to house your web files.  Your hosting package will be connected to your domain (web address), enabling your site to appear on the Internet when someone types in your address into their Internet brower. 

Both the domain and hosting service are independent necessities that must interface for people to be able to view your web site. 
Both are renewable and payable annually.

Your hosting service with us will include:

  • unlimited email addresses (up to the capacity of your hosting package, minus the space needed for your web files),
  • very detailed, comprehensive web states,
  • a variety of 'extras' - like web counters and much more,

Hosting packages are available in a number of sizes to best meet your supportive web needs.  Our basic package begins at 50 MB of space on our server for only $125 per year.  The basic package size is all that most text-based web sites need.
